About the Event:

Networking is one of those activities that many of us love to hate. Some of us hate it because we are shy. Some of us hate it because we are busy and feel we don’t have time. Some of us hate it because the events all feel the same.

Whatever your reason for not wanting or liking to network, the hard truth is that networking is a necessary part of professional life, and not just if you are in sales. Even if you don’t think you need a network, you do. You might not need it right now, but you will. And if you don’t build and maintain it when you don’t need it, it won’t be there when you do.

Barbara has been teaching and coaching communication skills for more 25 years. She learned to teach and coach in Europe, where she lived and worked for 19 years. During that time, she taught hundreds of International managers and students from a wide range of industries how to create and deliver clear, impactful messages. Since returning to the US, Barbara has taught and coached entrepreneurs, professionals, and corporate managers.

Barbara loves to help people authentically express their convictions and passions. Her ability to give honest, constructive feedback with respect and compassion enables her to engender positive change in her clients.
