MOUNT CLEMENS – THE coLABorative, a business incubator and co-working space, has announced as its newest tenant Advancing Macomb, a non-profit committed to investment in and promotion of Macomb County.

“Illustrating our mission to promote and enhance Macomb’s assets, THE coLAB is ideal space for Advancing Macomb,” said Melissa Roy, Advancing Macomb’s Executive Director. “THE coLAB is full of local entrepreneurs with a commitment to our community.”

A 501(c)(3) private non-profit launched in June 2013, Advancing Macomb aims to provide a unified voice to Macomb’s corporate, institutional, non-profit and public communities as well as enhance the quality of life for Macomb County.

“We are excited to welcome a growing organization like Advancing Macomb, which stands for the same collaboration, innovation and pro-Macomb attitude for which this space was created,” said Jimmy Gwizdala, owner and president of Hunch Free and THE coLAB’s founder.

Advancing Macomb will occupy a private office space at THE coLAB, directly across the road from the county headquarters in downtown Mount Clemens. THE coLAB provides amenities including open, collaborative workstations, private offices and conference rooms, and free wireless internet to local startups, freelancers, remote workers, and small businesses.
